The Zia Singers are in high gear as we prepare for our winter concert. All of the pieces are by women composers, including “A Wave That Rocks Me” by yours truly. There are some powerful works in this concert, including Cecilia McDowall's “The Girl From Aleppo” and Melissa Dunphy's “Wild Embers”.
