Lyrics
Walk This Freedom
© 2021 Susan Anders/Zanna Songs
Got a toothbrush, got a comb
I got a pen and map
I gave the rest away
Didn’t even keep my name
Just the clothes on my back
For years I searched I prayed
For why I’m here each day
Then a vision came
And now I walk this freedom
And now I talk this freedom
And I will walk till we all know the ways of peace
Back in my twenties
I loved pretty things
Dancing in a shiny dress
Ate ice cream each day for lunch
I had so much
But it felt so meaningless
Now I don’t own a thing
I just keep wandering
Smiling from what each day brings
And I will walk this freedom
And I will talk this freedom
And I will walk till we all know the ways of peace
In or outside’s where I’ll sleep
When someone feeds me I will eat
People are kind I do not need
This life unravels so full and sweet
And I will walk this freedom
And I will talk this freedom
And I will walk till we all know the ways of-
Walk this freedom
And I will talk this freedom
And I will walk till we all know the ways of peace
