"Shoes" is the second single from Susan's upcoming album NOW I'M A KITE. Susan writes: “When my father was older and fading I was grappling with the knowledge that he would be leaving this world soon. I imagined what he might say to me if he was on the precipice between life and death, not firmly on either side. I wrote the song for myself and had no plans to record it, but my husband Tom insisted it belonged on the album. Several people have told me how much the song has moved them, so I'm glad I did.”
All proceeds from NOW I'M A KITE singles and album sales will be donated to Feeding America.
