The Zia Singers musical director John Tiranno and I did several fun interviews to get the word out about "Voices of Life, Voices of Light", our winter concerts happening Jan 10/11th here in Santa Fe. My piece "A Wave That Rocks Me" is part of the all-women composers program. And there I'll be singing with the Alto 2s.

Yesterday we spoke with Richard Eeds on KTRC/KBAC--turns out we both grew up in the Bay Area and both went to UC Santa Cruz, so we clicked right away (go banana slugs). He dug in deep with questions about Edmonia Lewis, the inspiration for "A Wave That Rocks Me".
Today we spoke with the always wonderful Honey Harris on KBAC.
We also spoke with Alexis Corbin on KHFM (non-Santa Feans: it's our fabulous classical station). Very nice to meet her after hearing her voice on the radio all this time.
Inez Russell Gomez asked some great questions when we were on her “Conversations Different” podcast.
I met solo with Lynn Cline for her Cline's Corner show on KSFR. She really did her homework and we got to dig into several of the concert pieces.
